University of Liberia develops Strategic Master Plan for Fendell Land

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-University of Liberia President, Dr. Sarwolo Nelson, says a Fendell Land Strategic Master Plan is being developed by the institution’s administration.

According to Dr. Nelson, the plan is a five year role map that will be used to develop the UL Fendell property to a University City.

He said the University City will be situated on a 5,800 acres of land and negotiations with residents of Fendell are ongoing to ensure this is done peacefully.

Dr. Nelson also lauded the Liberian Government for it continuous support that keeps the university going amid numerous challenges.

He made the disclosure Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the 101 commencement convocation of the Graduate School of the University of Liberia.
