NCHE discloses Liberia’s readiness to roll out first ever phd-level academic programs

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia is set to roll out its first ever PHD -level academic programs.

The pronouncement was made Wednesday; march 3, 2021, by the Acting Director General of the National Commission on Higher Education, Rev. J. Andrew Lablah.

Rev. Lablah said the move will help promote quality as lecturers will be involved in teaching and research which will enhance the output of the students.

He said conversations are at the advance stage for the introduction of academic programs at PHD level before the close of the school year.

The NCHE Boss then lauded President George Weah for his constant support to the education system especially at the tertiary level.

Rev. Lablah was speaking Wednesday at the 101 commencement convocation of the University of Liberia Graduate and Professional Schools.
