Government Promises Pro-Poor Housing Units for Gbi-Doru People in Nimba

The Government of Liberia has promised to construct Pro-Poor Housing Units for the people of Gbi – Doru Administrative District in Nimba County.

President George Weah made the commitment Thursday during a Town Hall meeting as part of his ongoing County tour.

President Weah said it was saddened to see citizens of Gbi – Doru living without basic social services and improved infrastructure.

The Liberian Leader has also promised to construct a school, a clinic, and provide scholarship opportunities for the young people in the area.

President Weah said Government will do a feasibility study to know the total costs of undertaking the various projects.

Meanwhile, citizens of Gbi – Doru have lauded President George Weah for responding to their concerns.
