President Weah to send assessment team for proposed Gumpa City Hall Construction

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- President George Weah is expected to send an assessment team for a proposed Gompa City Hall construction. 

The decision followed a tour of the facility by President Weah and authorities of the county on Monday, February 15, 2021, in Ganta City.

Authorities have estimated the cost of the project at US$400,000. According to them, the Gompa City Hall, when completed will host several local government agencies in the county.

The Liberian leader said the construction of the hall is in support of government’s effort to remove public offices from rented buildings.

At the same time, authorities in Nimba County have lauded President George Weah for the talking such initial steps to complete the project.

Meanwhile, President Weah has toured the Liberia International Christian School where Agriculture activities including the production of cocoa are taking place Ganta, Nimba County.
