MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The House of Representatives has passed the Supplementary Budget, recently submitted to that August Body by the Executive Branch of Government.

According to our reporter, the Supplementary Budget is in the tune of Ten Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars.

The supplementary Budget is directed towards public sector direct investment for the Roberts International Airport (RIA) Road expansion, Public Schools Renovation and Street Lights extension.

It is also focused on procurement of additional transformers, Public School chairs, Hospital beds, among others. The instrument has been forwarded to the Liberian Senate for its concurrence.
