About 150 pre-trial detainees to benefit free legal services in Margibi County

MARGIBI COUNTY -Over one hundred and fifty pre-trial detainees in Margibi County are to benefit from free legal services provided by Survival Aid International.

Our Upper Margibi County Correspondent quotes the Program Director, Kemoh Mulbah as saying the free legal services will be provided for a period of one year to people who have no access to lawyers.

Mulbah asserted that the program is under the theme Access to Justice, through a grant provided by Swedish Non-Governmental Organization, CEDAR.

Our correspondent said as part of the program, community leaders will be trained in helping the police to resolve minor cases that don’t require going to court.
