NEC releases provisional results in National Referendum with complete tally for two counties

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission has begun releasing provisional results in the 2020 December 8, 2020, National Referendum, with tally completion of two counties.

The two counties are Bong and Grand Cape Mount. According to the referendum results, Bong County accumulated 74,337 votes amounting to 32.78 percent with Grand Cape Mount County accumulating 26,096 constituting 33.04 percent.

Meanwhile, the National Elections Commission Chairperson, Davidetta Brown-Lansanah has declared CPP Darius Dillion, Cpp Brownie Samukai, CDC Augustine Chea as Senatorial winners for Montserrado, Lofa, and Sinoe Counties respectively.

Madam Browne-Lansanah also declared CDC Saah Foko and CDC Sampson Queiju Wiah as winners for Montserrado District Nine and Sinoe District- Two Representatives By-Elections.

More results from both the Mid-Term Senatorial Election and the national referendum are expected to be released by the National Elections Commission in the coming days.
