LRRRC records additional refugees from Ivory Coast

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Refugees Repatriation Resettlement Commission (LRRRC) has announced the arrival of additional Ivoirian refugees into Liberia.

LRRRC Executive Director, Rev. Festus Logan, said:” A total of twelve-thousand-six-hundred-eight refugees have entered the Country from September to November this year.”

Rev. Logan said out of that figure, three-thousand-seven-hundred-eighty-two are in Grand Gedeh, seven-thousand-four-hundred-thirty-nine in Nimba County, one-thousand-two-hundred-sixty-nine in Maryland County and one-hundred-twenty-six in River Gee County.

Speaking Thursday, November 19, 2020, in Monrovia at the Information Press Briefing, Rev. Logan said Government will ensure the protection of the refugees is in line with international standards.
