Gov. expresses deepest sadness over Public Works Minister’s Death

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has expressed deepest sadness over the death of Public Works Minister Mobutu Nyenpan.

Mr. Nyenpan died early Friday morning, while undergoing treatment in Accra, Ghana, following a stroke complication in early September this year.

President George Weah said the death of Mr. Nyepan has created a deep void in the Cabinet, describing him as a friend and brother.

President said:” The fallen Public Weah Minister will be remembered for his humility, family values, love for Country and strong work ethics, which resulted in the infrastructure development of the Country.”

An Executive Mansion release quotes President Weah as extending profound sympathy to the bereaved family on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia.

The Liberian Leader also encouraged them to take solace in the Lord, during their bereavement.
