Stop sending out info that would tear down Liberia’s image-Minister Rennie

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The outgoing Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Ledgerhood Rennie, wants Liberians stop sending out information that would tear down the image of the Country.

Mr. Rennie said:” As patriotic Liberian, I am under obligation to work along with any government to project a positive image of Liberia.”

Speaking Wednesday, October 14, 2020, when he officially turned over officially to LBS new Director General, Estelle Liberty-Kemoh, Mr. Rennie urged Liberians to think and act positively.

He said no amount of negativity will bring development to Liberia.

The current Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism further said that because of peace, the Chinese Government is providing grant to build a three-story broadcast building for the State Broadcaster, and improve on other facilities.

Mr. Rennie commended LBS workers and admonished them to work along with the new leadership of the System, for effectiveness and productivity.
