PUL warns Bong County against using the media to incite violence

GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY- The Press Union of Liberia(PUL) President, Charles Coffey, has cautioned citizens of Bong County against using the media to incite violence.

Mr. Coffey said community radio stations should instead broadcast messages of peace and reconciliation, especially during the electioneering period.

According to ELBC Correspondent in Lower Bong, the PUL President called on Community radio stations to promote peace and not violence.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Totota Community Radio Station, Mr. Coffey urged Journalists to be ethical in the performance of their duties.

The cost of the project is put at over US 8,000 Dollars.
