Nat’l Elections Commission to begin Voter Roll Update soon

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) is to shortly begin the 2017 Voter Roll Update (VRU) across Liberia.

The Commission said the Voter Roll Update process will last for fifteen days, beginning Friday, September 11, 2020, at all two- hundred-eighty voting centers.

In an interview with ELBC Thursday, September 10, NEC Director of Communications, Henry Flomo, said:” There are over five-hundred teams carrying on the VRU process, and each team will be at a center for a period of three days.”

He further noted that those who just turned eighteen years old lost their voting cards or relocated to another location are people to benefit from the exercise.

Meanwhile, the National Elections Commission is urging the public to take advantage of the VRU process to enable them exercise their voting right.
