SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA-Report says Golden Veroleum has redundant about two-hundred-fifty employees in Sinoe County.

The action by the company, according to ELBC Sinoe County Correspondent, was consistent with the Decent Work Act of 2016.

Our Correspondent said:” The redundancy has affected all sections of the Company, including its Monrovia Office.”

According to our Correspondent, more than fifty of the redundant employees voluntarily requested the Company to do so.

Our Correspondent said the Company took the decision to avoid the challenge of not paying the employees.

The President of the Workers Union to ld our Correspondent that the Union is aware of the redundancy action by the Company.
