RIVERGEE COUNTY, LIBERIA – A 29 year old man identified as Michael Asare has allegedly rape a 16 year old girl in Rivergee County.

ELBC Rivergee County Correspondent quotes the victim’s parents as saying; the accused took their daughter unknowingly to them from Sinoe to Rivergee County and impregnated her.

Following three month of search for the victim, the family found her in Neeyanken, Rivergee County pregnant and reported the case to the Liberia National Police.

Our Correspondent said the suspect was taken to the WreboKlonoken Magisterial Court for persecution.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator has been placed behind bars at the Fish Town Central Prison in Rivergee County awaiting trial.
