Minister Nagbe Wants Liberians Do Away With Misinformation in the Fight Against Rape in Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Information Minister, Eugene Nagbe, has criticized against misinformation reportage amid the ongoing fight against rape in the Country.

Minister Nagbe said dissemination of proper information is critical to the collective fight against rape.

The Information Minister was reacting to a report by Radio France International (RFI) in an ELBC interview on Thursday.

RFI reported that that about one thousand persons were victims of Police brutality during the rape protest on Thursday in Monrovia.

Minister Nagbe, however, countered and urged journalists in the Country to verify their facts before reporting on critical national issues.

Minister Nagbe said Liberians are not gullible to accept every media report as some people may believe.
