Monrovia City Major,Jefferson Koijie, Gives Huge Cash Assistance To Private School Teachers In Margibi County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Koijie, has presented over three hundred thousand Liberian dollars to more than one thousand private school teachers in Upper Margibi County.

The private school teachers were drawn from fifty schools in the County.

Our Upper Margibi County Correspondent quotes MayorKoijie as sayingthe gesture is aimed at helping the private school teachers amidst economic challenges posed by COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the President of the Margibi County Private School Teachers Association, VandiKromah,thanked Mayor Koijie for the gesture.

Mr. Kromahsaid though the MayorKoijee is not from Margibi County, they were grateful to him, describing his gesture as a goodwill from a caring Liberian.
