I promise to collaborate with the Monrovia City Corporation…-Deputy Internal Affairs Minister designate

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Deputy Internal Affairs for Urban Affairs designate, Paulita Wie, has promised to collaborate with the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) to ensure the cleanliness of the city if confirmed.

Speaking Thursday, August 20, 2020, during her confirmation at the Liberian Senate, Madam Wie said:” Cleaning the city requires a holistic effort.”

According to her, though it is the responsibility of the MCC, to implement city ordinances, it requires the collective efforts of Monrovia residents to keep the city clean.

Her assertions came amidst concern raised by Maryland County Senator, Blebo Brown, on the untidiness of the City of Monrovia.

Madam Wie also promised to work in the best interest of the Country, adding that she will perform her duty with diligence and commitment.
