Nat’l Elections Commission launches Civic, Voter Education Outreach activities…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has launched its Civic and Voter Education Outreach activities for the voter roll update, for the pending 2020 Mid-Term Senatorial Election.

According to NEC Chairperson, Davidetta Browne-Lansanah, the process will run for fifteen days, beginning September 11, 2020.

Madam Lansanah said:” The voter roll update will be conducted in two-thousand-eighty centers across Liberia.”

She said NEC will deploy one-hundred-forty-six Civic Voter Educators, including one-hundred-forty-six gender mobilizers throughout the Country.

Speaking Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in Monrovia, Madam Lansanah said the Commission has also accredited over three-hundred civil society organizations, and other institutions to participate in the Voter Education Outreach activities.
