Liberia Coronavirus Confirmed Cases Rise to 1,250

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Two people have died from Coronavirus infection in Lofa and Rivercess Counties.

The two deaths bring to Liberia’s COVID-19 death toll to 81.

Liberian health authorities have also recorded 10 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection, increasing the country’s total COVID-19 cases to 1,250.

The Incident Management Team, Tuesday, August 12, 2020’s update showed that the number of people receiving treatment for Coronavirus infection has climbed to 433 while 1,068 contacts are being traced.

Meanwhile, 736 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Liberia after one person was discharged Monday, August 11, 2020.
