Ambassadors of China, Great Britain present Letters of Credence

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The newly appointed Ambassadors of China and the United Kingdom to Liberia have presented their letters of credence to President George Weah.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued Wednesday, August 12, 2020, President Weah received the letters of credence from the two envoys in Monrovia on Tuesday.

Ambassadors Ren Yisheng of China and Neil Bradley of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, conveyed words of sustained diplomatic friendship from their respective Governments, to the Government and people of Liberia.

Receiving the letters, President George Weah reaffirmed the Country’s commitment to the ‘One China Policy.

For Great Britain, President Weah spoke of the Country’s valuable support to Liberia in the areas of Security, Health, Governance and Forestry among others.
