Gov. is aware of the plight of marketers-Finance Minister Tweah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Finance Minister Samuel Tweah says the Liberian Government is sensitive to the plight of marketers in Liberia.

Minister Tweah said:” Government is planning to construct warehouses for marketers to store their goods to reduce rental costs.”

Minister Tweah’s statement is in response to an appeal made recently by some marketers, at a one-day dialogue to address challenges confronting the Liberia Marketing Association (LMA).

The Superintendent of the Ground-Pea Warehouse in Red Light, Salia Dumbar, earlier appeal to Minister Tweah for Government to construct ware houses at an affordable cost.

Madam Dumbar said:” They are spending thousands of US Dollars in rental fees to private ware houses ownership.”
