The Fight against COVID-19 is far from over-Health Minister Jallah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Health Minister, Wilhelmina Jallah, says the fight against coronavirus in Liberia is far from over, unless all Liberians sincerely observe the health protocols.

Dr. Jallah said:” With the increase number of confirmed cases of the virus across the Country, there is a need for Liberians to continue observing the health measures.”

She said the Country is in the middle of its fight to defeat the virus, but the need to continue the fight cannot be overemphasized.

Dr. Jallah attributed the increase in the number of confirmed cases to the decrease in the number of people showing up for testing, and the tendency of people still living in denial of the virus, including the lack of adequate community engagement, among others.

Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah spoke Monday, August 3, 2020, in an ELBC interview.
