Totota Community Bank burglarized, large sum of cash stolen

TOTOTA, BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Some unknown persons over the weekend burglarized the Totota Community Bank, and made away with huge sum of Liberian and United States Dollars.

According to ELBC Lower Bong County Correspondent, the unknown persons used an oxygen tank, cutting into the steel door where they had easy access into the bank.

One of the two security officers of the Vision Security Firm told investigators that the men gave him biscuits and he felt asleep, while his colleagues said he was not in the area.

The Totota Community Bank caters to residents of the community and its environs, including residents of Gbarpolu District Two and Grand Bassa County District Two, which are closer to the Bank.

The two Security officers have been forwarded to Gbarnga, Bong County, to assist Forensic Investigators of the Liberia National Police to arrest the alleged criminals.
