Liberia Registers 1,091 Confirmed Corona Virus Cases After The Last 24 Hours

MONROVIA, LIBERIA –Three new confirmed  Corona Virus cases have been reported by the National Public Health Institute of Liberia(NPHIL) in the past hours, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases in Liberia to 1,091.

Montserrado County counts for two of the three cases, with River Gee County reporting one.

According to the NPHIL, 15 people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours taking the number of people that have recovered from the virus to 534. No new death had been reported in the past day, with the death toll at 70.

The NPHIL says there are about 487 people are in treatment centers across the country, with 39 new contacts been followed up by health workers.

The Corona Virus has affected 14 of the 15 counties, with only Grand Gedeh County yet to report a case. Story By Zazay Kolubah
