MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has extended heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of Ivory Coast, following the death of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibally.

News about the death of Prime Minister Coulibally was announced by President Alassane Ouattara on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued Wednesday, July 8, 2020, President Weah described the death of the Ivoirian Prime Minister as a great loss to the Sub-region.

President Weah said:” The fallen Ivoirian Statesman was an active participant in Liberia’s dealings with the Ivory Coast over the years.”

Meanwhile, the Liberian Leader, however, assured of Liberia’s commitment to increase trade and bilateral ties between both countries.
