The Government of Neighboring Ivory Coast Deports 58 Liberians

MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The Government of neighboring Ivory Coast has deported Fifty-eight Liberians for committing multiple state crimes in that West African Nation.

The Liberian nationals, including 15 females and 43 males, were deported for their alleged involvement in criminal activities in Boakay City.

According to ELBC Grand Gedeh County Correspondent,

they were arrested and detained for three weeks in Boakay City on June 18, 2020 for terroristic threats and burglary.

They reportedly arrived at the Beyahee Border in Gbarzon Statutory District, Grand Gedeh County, on Sunday.

Our correspondent said they were received by the Liberia Immigration Service Grand Gedeh County commander, Morris Kamara.
