Grandcess City Residents Commend the Liberian Government for Road Rehabilitation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA –Residents of Grandcess City in Grand Kru County are commending the Liberian Government for the rehabilitation of the Grandcess to Big Swehn Road.

Speaking to ELBC Monday, Grandcess City Mayor, Francis Charlie, said they are particularly happy, because people across Grand Kru County can now easily access the Rally Time Hospital, the County’s biggest referral medical facility.

According to ELBC Grand Kru County Correspondent, Mr. Charlie made the commendation Monday, when he spoke to State Radio via mobile phone.

Mr. Charlie emphasized that the rehabilitation of the road is part of efforts by the residents, aimed at spreading the gains made by the Liberian Government’s Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development.

Our Correspondent added that the Road’s completion will now open commercial traffic and other development initiatives in Grandcess City and surrounding areas.

The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Government and partners have also constructed major bridges and replaced timber bridges with concrete ones that have, over the years, made the road deplorable.
