EU, UK Ambassadors reassures of their support to Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s international partners, the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) have reaffirmed their commitments to the socio-economic development of the Country.

The EU and UK named youth empowerment, agriculture and the energy sectors as areas of focus, to help the Government achieve sustainable development.

The commitments were made Monday, July 6, 2020, when EU Ambassador Helene Cave and UK Ambassador David Belgrove called on President Weah at the end of their respective missions in Liberia.

Responding, President Weah thanked the two envoys for their time of service to Liberia, adding that they have been strong supporters of Liberia’s development drive.
