Coalition for Democratic Change expels dismissed Deputy Commerce Minister

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), has expelled former Deputy Commerce Minister, Jamima Wolokollie, with immediate effect.

Madam Wolokollie was recently dismissed by President George Weah for comments incompatible with her position.

The disclosure was made Wednesday, July 1, 2020, by CDC Chairman Mulbah Morlu in an ELBC interview.

Chairman Morlu said:” Madam Wolokollie’s expulsion is based on series of corruption allegations while in Government.”

According to him, the former Deputy Commerce Minister no longer deserves the Party membership.

Meanwhile, the CDC Chairman has disclosed that preparations are ongoing ahead of the Party’s primaries in Montserrado and other counties.
