Tree crop extension project commences in Lofa County

LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A six-year tree crop extension project to boost agriculture activities in Lofa County has been launched in the County.

The project worth more than $44 (m) million United States Dollars is funded by the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), Green Climate Fund, and the Government of Liberia.

The project will be implemented in seven Districts in Lofa County.

Our Lofa County Correspondent said:” The project is aimed at improving incomes, and climate change resilience of small holder cocoa producers in the County.”

According to our correspondent, it is also designed to benefit fifteen-thousand households.
