THE USA-The United States Government has vowed to stand by the Government of Liberia continuously in the fight for a healthier people. 

In a speech via video link recently, USAID Mission Director Sarah Walters acknowledged there are challenges facing Liberia’s Health Sector and called for emphasis to be placed on the quality of care.

Madam Walters said Liberia has had a lot of success in getting more people to come to health facilities and use essential health services, as captured in the Key Indicator Report released by LISGIS recently.

She wants the Government focus on improving the quality of care, as many health centers lack essential medicines to treat common illnesses.

The Madam Walters is, meanwhile, urging the Liberian Government to ensure that every Liberian can access quality health services, especially the most vulnerable population in the poorest communities.
