Church Overseer sent to court for alleged rape

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Founder and Overseer of the Community Revival Church in Logan Town has been forwarded to court for allegedly raping a minor.

Fifty years old suspect James Kollie, allegedly raped the minor repeatedly from 2017 to June 2020, when she was 10yrs old in 2017.

The victim, according to police investigation, was taken to the church for deliverance from illness.

The victim narrated to her parents that most times at night, suspect Kollie took her from the church to his room and had intercourse with her.

According to the victim, suspect Kollie threatened not to feed her during the deliverance period if she told anyone about the act.
