CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS PLATFORM WELCOMES INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION’S 2019 REPORT

The Civil Society Organizations Platform in Liberia has welcomed the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) 2019 human rights Report.

The National Secretary of the Platforms, Adama Dempster, said the Commission’s report will put various rights groups in the better position to do follow-ups on human abuses.

Mr. Dempster said it will also provide them the space to engage various state actors to take action in addressing human rights violations.

He said the report by the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) will help to improve the human rights record in Liberia.

Mr. Dempster spoke recently in Monrovia, when the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) released its 2019 Human Rights Report.
