Gov. launches manhunt for rape suspect

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government has launched a manhunt for rape Suspect, Johnson Chulutah, with his identity being placed at strategic points across the Country.

Suspect Chulutah allegedly raped his 15-year old stepdaughter, who was at the time 13-years and impregnated her, thereby giving birth to a girl child. 

According to a release issued Thursday, May 28, 2020, the Ministry of Gender is urging anyone having information regarding the whereabouts of suspect Chulutah to aid the police in its attempt to arrest the perpetrator

The release quotes the Gender Ministry as welcoming public reporting on Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) cases to put an end to the menace.

Meanwhile, the Gender Ministry is appealing to viewers of videos portraying sexual molestation to disengage from sharing said content, especially without protecting the name and face of the survivor.
