Liberian Gov. to pave road connecting major towns in Bong County

GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY-The Liberian Government will soon begin the pavement of a road connecting Sanoryea, Totota, and Gbonota to Phebe.

The road, which is   currently in a deplorable state, also connects other towns in Bong County and enters into Gbarpolu County.

The disclosure was made over the weekend by Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor, when she presented three-hundred solar lights to the people of Gbarnga on behalf of Bong County Representative Marvin Cole.

Vice President Taylor said:” Government has concluded all formalities, including funding arrangement for the pavement of the road.”

ELBC Bong County Correspondent said the road serves as a major gateway to economic activities in the County.
