Liberia Business Registry Establishes Online Registration Platform

Monrovia, Liberia – An online worldwide business registration system is currently being developed by the Liberia Business Registry and partners.

It followed the provision of funds from the Swedish Development Association (SIDA) through the International Finance Corporation for the initiative.

Liberia Business Registry Registrar General, Samson Dee, made the disclosure Friday in an ELBC interview.

Mr. Dee said when completed, the platform will enable international corporations and other investigators register their businesses online without coming to the Country.

According to him, the framework for the online business registration platform is being validated by local and international partners.

Meanwhile, Samson Dee said the outbreak of the coronavirus in the Country is having an adverse impact on business registration, revenue collection and undermined the Country’s entire business climate.
