Prez. Weah nominates Ndubusi Nwabudike at NEC, Others at LACC, NPHIL, Others

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – President George Weah, has nominated Cllr. Ndubusi Nwabudike, as the new Chairman of the National Election Commission (NEC).

President Weah has at the same time nominated several new Commissioners of the Commission.

Those nominated are, Madam Davidetta Browne Lansanah Co-Chairman, Cllr. Ernestine Morgan-war, Commissioner, Floyd Sayor, Commissioner, Barsee Kpankpa, Commissioner, and Josephine KouGaye, Commissioner.

The Liberian Leader also nominated Cllr. Edward Martin as Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission, while Cllr. Edwin Dennis was named as Executive Directorof the National Bureau of Concessions.

President Weah also nominated Dr. Mosoka Fallah, Director General of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia(NPHIL).

Others nominated are, Macarthur Hilltop, Deputy Managing Director General for Technical Services, Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation, Ballah Herbelt, Deputy Director for Administration, National Food Assistance Agency, George Howe, Commissioner, Governance Commission, and Mark Dolo, Deputy Director for Operations, Liberia National Fire Service.

Meanwhile, the President also named Agriculture Minister, Jeanie Cooper as Chairperson of the Board and Statutory member of the Central Agriculture Research Institute (CARI)  as well as John Chea, member.   

The Minister of Post and Telecommunications Cllr.    Cooper Kruah was named statutory, March 21,2020 as member to the Board of the Liberia Telecommunications Corporation (LITELCO).

These nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
