Liberia Confirms Third CONVID-19 Case, Calls for calm

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Liberian Government has confirmed a third person has been tested positive of the Coronavirus in the country.

An Information Ministry release issued Friday, March 20,2020 says, the new case is a 63-year-old woman, Linda Rose who has taken at the 14th Military Hospital for treatment.

The release said contact tracing of the third Coronavirus case has already begun.

Meanwhile health authorities are expected to convensee an emergency meeting of the Incident Management Team (IMT today Saturday, March 21, 2020.

The Ministry if Information release also quotes Government as calling for calm, as it works to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 Virus.
