Special Presidential Task Force on Gasoline Crisis Presents Its Report to President George Weah

Monrovia Liberia – The Special Presidential Task Force investigating the gasoline crisis has presented its report President George Weah.

An Executive Mansion Release says the report followed the conclusion of investigation into the gasoline crisis confronting the country.

The Head of the Taskforce, Minister of State Without Portfolio, Trokon Kpui, is quoted as saying the report covered the alleged 60-percent discrepancy in importers’ inventory at LPRC, among others.

Minister Kpui also said the report contains recommendations for corrective measures to avoid a repeat of the gasoline crisis.

Receiving the report, President Weah highlighted the significance of the investigation and the appropriate actions to be taken based on the recommendations from the Committee.

President Weah said the report will be made public following a review.
