MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) has begun an assessment tour of its substations in Southeastern Liberia.

A top LBS Management Team, headed by its Director General, Eugene Fahngon, has arrived in Sinoe County at the start of the tour.

Speaking on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the arrival ceremony in Sinoe County, Fahngon announced plans for the renovation of Sinoe County Substation by November 15 this year, following the government’s intervention.

The LBS boss urged staff of the Sinoe County Substation to be dedicated and committed to their duties or risk disciplinary action for non-performance.

Director General Eugene Fahngon then presented digital radios to support signal monitoring.
