Pres. Boakai Receives Letters of Credence from Amb. Designate of Lebanon, Germany

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has received Letters of Credence from the Ambassadors designate of Lebanon and Germany.

They are Ambassadors Bashir Sarkis and Carsten Holscher, respectively.

During the brief meeting, President Boakai recounted the enduring friendship that continues to exist among Liberia, Germany, and Lebanon.

He described the presence of the two countries in Liberia as impactful and craved enhanced cooperation in areas of mutual interest and investments.

President Boakai also highlighted the significance of those important relations to rebranding Liberia’s image on the global stage, including the country’s presence at the United Nations Security Council.

Meanwhile, the two Ambassadors, in separate remarks, reaffirmed their respective countries’ commitment to support Liberia’s development programs.
