MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Education Minister Dr. Jarso Jallah has urged LIPA graduates to bridge the gap between public policies and service delivery through professional excellence.
Speaking on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Liberia Institute for Public Administration in Doemah’s Town, Dr. Jarso Jallah challenged graduates to transform knowledge into measurable institutional performance.
According to Minister Jallah, Liberia’s development depends on competent professionals capable of strengthening accountability, improving governance, and delivering efficient public services.
She said,” Effective procurement, financial management, human resource administration, strategic planning, and policy implementation remain essential for building credible and responsive public institutions”.
The education minister added that continuous professional development and practical application of acquired skills are critical to improving institutional performance and advancing national development priorities.
Dr. Jallah then congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to return to their respective institutions prepared to improve systems, strengthen accountability, and serve Liberians with integrity and excellence.
At the same time, Indian Ambassador to Liberia, Manoj Verma, has described knowledge and integrity as the foundation of a modern, accountable, and effective public service capable of advancing Liberia’s national development.
Speaking as orator of the Liberia Institute for Public Administration (LIPA) graduation ceremony, Ambassador Verma said,” Liberia’s progress depends on public servants who combine professional competence, ethical leadership, and unwavering commitment to national service”.
He said public administration remains essential to closing the gap between government commitments, institutional performance, and the everyday experiences of citizens through effective leadership and sound governance.
Ambassador Verma reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening Liberia’s human resource capacity through scholarships, professional training, and technical cooperation founded on mutual respect, partnership, and shared development goals.
The Indian diplomat encouraged graduates to apply their knowledge with integrity, perseverance, and purpose while contributing meaningfully to stronger institutions and improved public service delivery across Liberia.
