Pres. Boakai Sends Condolence Message to Gov., People of Venezuela

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai has sent a condolence message to the Liberian government and people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, following the devastating earthquakes that struck the country’s north-central region.

On June 24, this year, a devastating earthquake struck that country, leading to the death of over three thousand persons, one thousand injured, and thousands displaced.

In his message to his Venezuelan counterpart, Delcy Rodriguez, President Boakai expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and the widespread destruction caused by the disaster.

President Boakai noted, with deep sadness, reports of thousands of deaths, injuries, and displacement resulting from the earthquakes.

The Liberian Leader extended heartfelt condolences to President Rodriguez, the government and people of Venezuela, particularly the residents of the La Guara and Carabobo regions, as well as the families who lost loved ones.
