Health Ministry Holds Performance Review on ARREST Agenda

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Senior Management Team of the Ministry of Health has held a performance review on the Arrest Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

The AAID, under the health component, aims at improving the health and well-being of all citizens through the delivery of quality health and nutrition services.

It also safeguards sustainable financing, affordability, and health security, and ensures that health services are accessible, equitable, safe, and responsive to the needs of the users.

Health Minister, Dr. Louis Kpoto called on the team to reflect on the gains, challenges and ways in which the ministry can improve its service delivery.

The AAID calls on the ministry to create a robust health system that addresses immediate health needs and promotes preventive measures to improve healthcare across Liberia.

The Health Ministry, in a release on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, said it remains committed to implementing the key targets under the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development by 2029.
