MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Suspect Samuel Jackson has been released from the Monrovia Central Prison after spending four nights behind bars.

Last week, the Liberia National Police charged suspect Jackson with multiple offenses, ranging from aggravated assault, negligent homicide, manslaughter, and recklessly endangering the life of another person.

His release was approved by Criminal Court ‘A’ Resident Judge Roosevelt Willie.

Suspect Samuel Jackson’s release has set the stage for his prosecution in connection with the death of his South African wife, Toni Khumalo, who died on March 13, 2026, at J.F.K. Memorial Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia.
