MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Steel Giant, ArcelorMittal-Liberia, has launched a community Safety Awareness on Rail and Road Safety.

The awareness, according to ArcelorMittal- Liberia, is targeting its operation areas in Nimba, Grand Bassa, and Bong Counties.

ArcelorMittal – Liberia Communication manager, Winston Daryoue, told ELBC on Thursday that the goal is to protect both workers and community residents from road and rail accidents.

Mr. Daryoue said,” The company is partnering with national and community radio stations to educate residents about when and where to cross the railway and road accidents”.

For her part, the community relations superintendent, Worquah Samuel-Kamara, said,” The road and rail safety awareness will significantly reduce the number of accidents experienced in the past”.
