MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is in Ghana attending a high-level consultative conference on Regional Security and Co-operation.
The conference, which is being organized by Ghana’s President John Mahama, is intended to foster political commitment and provide practical guidance for a cohesive set of cooperation measures that generate tangible development benefits.
The two-day gathering also aims at enhancing prevention, early warning, and coordinated responses to shared risks in the sub-region.
ELBC Reporter said,” The regional event aims at also supporting shared prosperity and integration, while establishing a stronger preventive environment against violent extremism, terrorism, and transitional organized crimes”.
Members of the President’s delegation are Deputy Foreign Minister for International Co-operation, Ibrahim Nyei, and National Security Advisor, Kofi Advisor, Samuel Kofi Woods.
