Pres. Boakai to Deliver State of the Nation Address Toady

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai is expected to deliver his third annual message to the 55th National Legislature today, Monday, at the Capitol in Monrovia.

The annual message, also known as the State of the Nation Address (SONA), is in line with Article 58 of the Liberian Constitution.

Article 58 requires the President to report to the National Legislature on the state of the Republic on the Fourth Working Monday in January each year.

It also provides the platform for the President to present his legislative agenda to members of the National Legislature.

The President’s address is expected to highlight key deliverables in the ARREST Agenda for inclusive development.
