MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Chinese Government has donated several motorbikes and assorted materials to the Liberia National Police (LNP).

The materials are intended to enhance mobility and communication, and to support the effective operations of the police force.

On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Monrovia, Chinese Ambassador Yin Chengwu described the donation as a manifestation of China’s support for Liberia in strengthening its law enforcement capacity.

Ambassador Yin said,” The exercise is part of a broader outcome of previous bilateral engagement held between President Joseph Boakai and his Chinese Counterpart, Xi Jinping, during the Beijing FOCAC Summit”.

According to the Chinese Envoy, the move reflects China’s direct commitment to supporting the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID), which remains a cornerstone of national stability.
