MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President Joseph Boakai says his recent visits to France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were part of a broader effort to rebuild Liberia’s image on the international stage.

President Boakai said,” My visits were also critical to attracting investment opportunities, restoring the dignity and confidence of Liberia among countries of the world”.

According to the Liberian Leader, France and the UAE are key supporters of the Government of Liberia’s plans to strengthen bilateral relations and promote friendly conversations of mutual interest.

In France and the UAE, President Boakai said he held separate but coordinated engagements with his counterparts, seeking their support towards infrastructure, agriculture, renewable energy, and tourism.

He said,” There is an existing correspondence between Liberia and the two countries for which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must ensure that those strategic bilateral engagements are actualized”.

President Joseph Boakai and the delegation returned home early Friday morning, November 7, 2025, following their official visits to France and the United Arab Emirates.
